THE sight of a roofless house in Gurteen prompted a query from Cllr Keith Doyle at the September meeting of Enniscorthy Town Council.
The Fianna Fáil man said he was not aware who owned the property close to the Riverside Park Hotel as he suggested that the unfinished structure was a candidate for demolition.
Town clerk David Minogue indicated that the he knew the identity of the owners and that he was aware of the state of the house. He stressed that it is privately owned but revealed that the owners – who he did not name at the meeting – have definite plans to carry out improvements.
