THE LATEST novel by Milehouse native Peter Murphy was launched in Wexford Town at the weekend in the arts centre. However, the man who wrote 'Peter the Revelator' will be in his home town on the evening of Thursday, January 31 to introduce his new creation 'Shall We Gather At The River' at the public library in Lymington Road.
The writer from Milehouse now resides in Monageer. His publishers are the London based Faber & Faber. 'Shall We Gather At The River' was inspired by the multiple drowning that occurred in the Slaney in 2001 though the book is in no way an account of that harrowing time.
