Damage to car

A BUNCLODY man before Gorey District Court last week was given a chance to pay €140 for damage he caused to a car.

Judge William Early described as 'a particularly mean sort of offence' the smashing of a car window, and the slashing of two tyres, by Tommy Farrell (23) of Carrhill, Bunclody. He faced charges of criminal damage arising out of the incidents at Millwood Apartments, Carrigduff, Bunclody, on September 19 and September 10 last year.

Judge Early gave him until November 10 to pay for the damage, and said if it's paid, he would impose a €200 fine.
