Bennett's crime call

MICHAEL BENNETT of Enniscorthy Victim Assistance has called on the general public to be vigilant in preventing and detecting crime.

He suggested that smart phones can be used to take note of vehicle registrations and other observations, with a view to passing the information on to the Gardaí. The organisation may be contacted at (083)1231028.

Meanwhile, urban councillor Tom Moorehouse has called for the revival of Neighbourhood Watch schemes to keep the lid on crime.
