Glamorous Ladies turn on the style
The women of Wexford did themselves proud at Ladies Day at Wexford Racecourse over the weekend with a vast array of glitz and glamour on show all around. Bumper crowds attended the races over the weekend as the beautiful weather and some top notch horse racing drew people to the racecourse for some fun in the sun.
Once again, the ladies of Wexford proved themselves to be right up to date with all the latest trends as they donned their finest outfits for the occasion. This year, novelist, journalist and former 'Miss Ireland' Amanda Brunker cast her eye over all the fashion and finery that Wexford had to offer and she was suitably impressed.
'Ladies Day is growing and growing every year,' said Mary Ballantyne, Secretary at Wexford Racecourse. 'We had a great turnout of pretty ladies wearing some beautiful outfits and more and more ladies seem to be making the effort each year.
'It was a great success for both the Racecourse and for Littlewoods Ireland who sponsored the event.'
The eventual winner of best dressed lady was Sorcha Morris from Ferns whose outfit really caught the eye of judge Amanda Brunker and she was delighted to have been chosen.
