Four restaurants shortlisted for 'Food and Wine' yearly honours

Four County Wexford restaurants have been shortlisted in the Food and Wine Magazine Restaurant of the Year Awards.
Kelly's Hotel in Rosslare and Greenacres in Selskar are in line for a national Best Wine Experience award when the winners are announced in Dublin on August 17.
Billy Whitty of Aldridge Lodge in Duncannon has been nominated for Best Chef in Leinster.
Dunbrody House and Aldridge Lodge are both in the shortlist for Best Restaurant in Leinster. Diners all over Ireland were invited to nominate their favourite restaurants and chefs with the entries then being judged by a panel of culinary experts and food critics. Each judge voted in secret for their top 10 in each category. The Food and Wine Magazine Awards are considered the most prestigious barometer of culinary standards in Ireland. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in the Four Seasons Hotel.
