DROGHEDA Town FC is trying to revive girls soccer in the area again by setting up teams for the coming year.
So, if there's any budding stars out there, hoping to follow in the footsteps of such Drogheda-born internationals as Christine Dyas, Grainne Kierans and Megan Campbell then just get in touch with the club.
Training did start last weekend with an open session and there's a further one on Saturday August 24th at St Oliver's CC from 11-12 noon. It's for girls born in 2000, 2001 and 2002. All welcome.
