DROGHEDA native Nathan Seery is enjoying some international action this week as he represents Ireland Under-16s in two matches against Holland in the Netherlands.

The 15-year-old from Yellowbatter received his U-16 international cap from FAI chief John Delaney the week before last after featuring in emphatic 6-0 and 5-0 wins against Estonia during a tournament in Listowel, Co Kerry.

Nathan now plays his club football for Templeogue United in the DDSL Premier Division, but played in the NDSL for Boyne Rovers from U-11 to U-13 under Martin Walsh before spending two seasons with Malahide United.
