TOP SCORER Barry Kavanagh secured Duleek's passage into the third round of the FAI Junior Cup, striking the all-important goal in this tie on Sunday after the sides exchanged a goal apiece in the first half.

However, the slim margin of victory was slightly flattering to the losers - who play in the Sunday Major division of the Leinster Senior League - with a few tactical changes enabling Duleek to take control in the second half.
In an even first period Duleek took the lead with a back-post header by Paul Martin after Sean Kennedy headed a free kick back across the visitors' goal after 20 minutes.
But their opponents drew level five minutes later from what Duleek felt was a dubious free kick awarded against Jamie Flaherty following a tussle with their centre-forward.
Duleek introduced Paddy Coates in the second half and he provided them with more of an attacking threat.
They created a few chances that they could easily scored from, before Kavanagh grabbed the decisive goal 20 minutes from the end, rounding off some great approach play.
The MDL Premier title chasers made a couple more openings to increase their lead, while the visitors never troubled the home defence.
