Good evening for Morning Star in play-off battle

MORNING Star boosted their hopes of qualifying for the Duleek & District Dart League's Premier Division playoffs by overcoming fellow challengers Big Toms on Monday night.

Elsewhere, O'Neills' relentless march at the top continued as they routed Kellys to retain their 100% record, and Matthews eased their relegation worries with a hard-fought draw against Punt Bar.

Tourist Rest picked up their first point of the campaign in Division 1, but still look destined to be playing in the third tier next season, while Admirals were the night's only winners in that division as they accounted for Milestone to leave the battle for the play-offs wide open.

In Division 2 leaders Becks suffered a big defeat at Cottage B and the battle for league honours looks certain to go down to the wire, with just four points separating the top seven teams.

The next fixtures will be on Friday January 4th and Monday 7th.
