Landy scoring bonanza sees St Patrick's home

WITH Donal Landy taking the scoring honours with a tally of 3-5, St Patrick's squeezed past the challenge of Dunshaughlin following a hard-fought en-counter at Ratoath on Sunday.

It proved a closely contested affair, with little to choose between the sides at any stage. The Stamullen side had the edge in the opening half and led 2-5 to 1-6 at the break.

Landy's brother Shane contributed 1-3, while Neil O'Flaherty was also on the mark for the winners who produced a fine all-round display.
