Commencing on March 22nd, the scheme is initially an eight-week programme aimed at increasing participation in ladies football and targets girls aged between eight and 12 years who are not currently with a club. It is being supported by the Local Sports Partnership.

Gaelic4Girls is focused on fun and participation, giving girls an introduction to ladies football in a non-competitive environment. It will be held in Duleek every Saturday from 10am, and on completion of the programme participants are presented with certificates and jerseys for their participation.

They will be encouraged then to register with the Duleek/Bellewstown club.

A mini Blitz will also be held with another Gaelic4Girls team after the eight weeks and this is a highlight of the programme.

The cost for the entire programme is only €8 and more information is available from Noel Woods on 086-8822196.
