EIRE OG and Annacurra faced off in the Junior C football championship in Arklow on Thursday evening.
If this had been a boxing match, the referee would have stopped it after 20 minutes, such was Eire Og's dominance.
The Greystones outfit were much too good for Annacurra and in the end it turned into little more than a practice match.
The first real chance of the game fell to Annacurra a minute in when Sean O'Neill saw a good effort come back off the crossbar.
It would take Eire Og five minutes to register their first score of the game, thanks to a Gavin Parslow point following some good play.
Annacurra leveled it two minutes later when Neil Short split the posts but after that it was all one-way traffic.
Luke Bradley got Eire Og's second point of the evening eight minutes in and that was quickly followed by the games opening goal.
A great pass from Kyle Sheridan put Parslow through and he blasted the ball past Jack Byrne in the Annacurra goal.
That was quickly followed by points from Ciaran McDonald and Gary Elliot. They could have had their second goal of the game 15 minutes in but McDonald's effort hit the woodwork.
Sean Hughes got the next score of the game when he kicked a good free in the 17th minute.
Brendan Nolan and Kyle Sheridan then exchanged frees before Eire Og raised the second green flag of the evening. Bradley played a great ball into Kenny Naughton, his effort was well saved by Byrne but the breaking ball was met by Kyle Sheridan's fist.
The final score of the half would go Annacurra's way, thanks to a good point from Nolan. There was nine points separating the sides at the break but it could easily have been more, such was Eire Og's dominance.
Eire Og kicked six points in the opening ten minutes of the second half thanks to Anthony Byrne Hughes, Elliot and three good points from Bradly.
To their credit, Annacurra did keep going and had a goal chance in the 41st minute but Short's effort went wide.
There was not let up from Eire Og though and a point from Anthony Byrne and 1-1 from Elliot put them further in front.
It took Annacurra all of 17 minutes to register their first score of the second half thanks to a point from substitute Chris Keogh.
Gary Elliot got the next three scores of the game for Eire Og as they continued to push forward. The final score of the game did go to Annacurra thanks to another point from Brendan Nolan but Eire Og could have had another goal right at the death but Ciaran McDonald's effort was well saved.
21 points separated the sides when the full-time whistle sounded and in truth it could have been more. The Greystones men were sharp from the start and enjoyed some very good spells of football over an Annacurra team that had no answers on the night.
