TWO PEOPLE were treated for minor injuries following an incident involving four cars on the Termonfeckin Road last Thursday night.

It appears that one car 'rear-ended' a second vehicle at around 6.50pm, and reports suggest that a similar incident occurred a few minutes later involving two other vehicles which had slowed down in front of the collision.

'Two occupants of the first car were taken to Our Lady of Lourdes hospital as a precaution, but their injuries are not thought to be serious,' said a garda source.
