Thin Lizzy tribute band back in town

Red-hot Thin Lizzy tribute act, Live and Dangerous, pay a return visit to McHugh's Bar in Drogheda, on Bank Holiday Sunday, 16th March.
The boys made their Drogheda debut on St Patrick's Night last year at the same venue before a large and appreciative crowd, and their return appearance there promises to be a night to remember!
Main man Johnny Fox needs little introduction from his time as a member of the legendary Thin Az Lizzy tribute band which, of course, also included renowned Drogheda axeman, Gordon 'Flash' Murphy.
Guest guitarist, Ian 'Speedo' Wilson, has been playing guitar for over 25 years.
There is a late bar organised and also a top local band playing support on the night.
THE borough council is to examine the implications of adding pedestrian crossings to the Beechgrove roundabout.
Councillors feel that it is too dangerous to cross the road in the area and they want the matter tackled. Cllr. Linda Bell Woods feels a crossing at Shamrock Villas could be a solution.

Duleek Fair Day will take place on August 16th and 17th 2014. After the huge success of the 2013 Fair Day, this year promises to be another fantastic event for Duleek. A huge thanks to everyone who attended the quiz night last Friday.
