PAUL Durnin might just have to throw away the heavy socks - he's moving into the warmth of Drogheda Town Centre after 30 years running a stall at the outdoor market.
The popular local fruit and veg trader has operated Paul's Stall in Bolton Street for decades.
'I felt the time was right to make the transition and bring market freshness and market prices to an indoor unit. Being indoors will allow a better shopping experience for our loyal customer base and hopefully encourage a new generation to embrace the benefits of locally grown and produced goods,' he stated.
Paul and his wife Mary have really fond memories as they reflected on the last 30 years.
'We have met some great people, great characters around the market and the town. There has always been loyalty, people prepared to support small local business and enjoy the bit of craic,' he added.
