CLLR. WAYNE Harding has welcomed progress made on the ongoing issues of flooding in the Northlands estate in Bettystown.
'Meath County Council have met with the OPW and I believe that there is a real commitment on both organisations behalf to sort out an ongoing problem once and for all,' Cllr. Harding said.
'Consultants will be engaged in the next couple of weeks to design a plan to alleviate the problem. They believe at this stage they have pinpointed how the problem will be solved and the only holdup will be the tender and procurement statutory procedure.'
