New Lourdes 18-bed unit planned

A NEW place of worship is being planned on a site at Newtown, Drogheda.
Drogheda Millmount/ Boyne Congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses have applied for permission to Louth County Council for a development that will consist of the demolition of an existing derelict bungalow, outbuildings and sheds for the construciton of a new single storey place of worship together with a 32 space car park, signage and entrance at Newtown, Drogheda.
A new place of worship is also being proposed by Clondyke Investments Ltd at Aston Village. An application has been lodged for the change of use of a retail unit to a place of worship at Unit 4, Aston Village Local Area Centre at Newtownstalaban.
The Board of Management of Tullyallen NS is also seeking permission for the construction of a single storey extension to the front of existing school, incorporating one classroom and toilets, and the construction of a single storey extension in the existing courtyard.
The Board of Management at St Finians National School, Adamstown, Dunleer also plan the construction of a new resources room and associated corridor at the front of the school plus a new front entrance ramp.
Robert Donegan has sought permission for change of use of the former parochial hall site at Main Street, Dunleer, to a car wash facility including valeting enclosure, separate in and out entrance to site and a wash bay.
THE ESB are seeking the demolition of a habitable house at Drybridge, Tullyallen, within the sub-station lands and the erection of new 2.6m high palisade fencing along some sections of the property.
The Louth Community Drug & Alcohol Team is seeking permission for change of use from school to community based education, training, addiction support and counselling service at St Mary's Convent School, Fatima, Dublin Road.
ABCD Bridge Club are seeking the change of use fo the former ESB warehouse building at Fairgreen to use as a Bridge Club premises, consisting of card playing rooms, toilet & kitchen facilities at ground floor level & an office room over the entrance lobby at first floor level.
Meanwhile, Louth CC has refused permission to the Select Vestry of Ardee Union of Parishes to construct a ramp at the front door of St Mary's Church, Market Street, Ardee, to provide disabled access.
They also wanted to construct an enclosure in the south aisle to provide an accessible toilet and tea station, alterations to and removal of pews at the rear of the church to provide accommodation for wheelchairs and the installation of flood lighting to the exterior of the building.
The council have granted permission for the Board of Management St Peter'sNational School for renovation works and a change of use of the upper floor from residential / store to classroom.
The HSE has been given permission for a temporary single storey extension of approx. 323m, linked to existing Ground Floor East in-patient ward, situated on the grassed area south of Ground Floor East, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. It will accommodate a temporary 18 bed in-patient ward.
E & A Property Development Ltd is to construct a new pre-school sessional care room and toilets, to cater for a maximum of 10 childcare places adjacent to existing creche at Alison's Wonderland Creche, Rosehall Estate, Cross Lanes, Drogheda.
Further information has been received in respect of a single storied extension at St Oliver's CC and alterations to the existing school buiding in two separate locations to include a new entrance, 10 classrooms and offices together with ancillary accommodation.
MV Nursing Ltd are also seeking permission for the construction of three separate single storey extension to the rear and front of the existing nursing home at Sunhill, Termonfeckin. It is proposed to have 22 new bedrooms.
