Man pleaded guilty to breaching safety order

A MAN who pleaded guilty to breaching a safety order has been remanded on bail provided he complies with his bail conditions.
Joseph Connor (26) of Finian's Park pleaded guilty at Drogheda District Court to breaching the order on January 15th at Scarlet Crescent in Drogheda.
Defence solicitor Finian Branigan requested an adjournment of the case for the preparation of a probation report.
Judge William Hamill remanded Connor on bail subject to him not entering Scarlet Crescent and signing on twice a week at Drogheda Garda Station.
He also ordered that Connor have no contact with the injured party after Inspector John Foudy told the court that the woman is 'in fear'. He remanded Connor on his own bail of €300 to re-appear before Drogheda District Court on February 8th when the facts of the case will be heard.
