A MAN has appeared in court in connection with the alleged kidnap of a post office worker and his family in 2011.
Jonathan Gill (32), with an address at Malahide Road in Dublin, appeared before Drogheda District Court last Friday on four charges relating to the incident on August 1, 2011.
Gill is charged with three counts of false imprisonment and one of stealing more than €600,000 from Drogheda Post Office on August 2, 2011.
