Lady Well fete marks start of Heritage Week

The Lady Well Fete will take place on the Slane Castle grounds on Sunday, August 24, which marks the beginning of Heritage Week, from 1.0 until 6pm. There will be lots of fun and activities for all the family including a duck derby, Craft Collective village, Slane Food Circle, Children's entertainment such as Paul the Magician, face painting, kids play area, food demonstrations, stalls, a cake competition for both adults and children, a dog show, hot air balloon, sports events, live music and lots more.
Heritage week themed events will be The Black Friary Archaeology Society who will give a lecture on Archaeology sites in the area and also a member of the Francis Ledwidge Committee will be reciting Francis Ledwidge poetry.
Entry €5, children free and free car parking on site.
