At the Lollipop Day in aid of Oesophageal Cancer Support Fund Launch at the Laurance Town Shopping Centre were Christopher Doggett, Mayor Richie Culhane, Eithne Doggett and Sharon Taylor.

Following another successful annual Lollipop Day, the Oesophageal Cancer Fund (OCF) would like to thank all the volunteers in Louth who helped with the Lollipop Day fundraising, without which Lollipop Day could not happen.

Lollipop Day is a volunteer-led movement which relies on public support to keep research centres open and keep oesophageal cancer in the public consciousness.

If you would like to donate to the Oesophageal Cancer Fund, get involved in the Women's Mini Marathon in June or get updates on events, you can log on to, follow on Twitter or Like on Facebook.
