Students from the area at the Colaiste na hInse summer camp.

SUMMER USED to be a quiet time around Colaiste na hInse, Bettystown - but not any more.

Meath VEC decided to hold the inaugural Colaiste Summer Camp and the halls were filled with laughter, learning, and joy of discovery.

The one week summer camp was designed for young people from ages 7 to 15. Students experienced, among dozens of activities, the arts and cultures, graffiti art, drama, samba drumming and even explore campfire etiquette!.

It included a day trip to Funtasia in Drogheda Waterpark and a day in Collon Campsite.

The summer camp was offered at a reduced price to Colaiste na hInse students and potential students as Meath VEC recognise that these experiences help to lay the foundation for stronger academic performance and social development within the school.
