Council urged to hold information day for residents
COUNCILLOR Michael O'Dowd has called on Louth County Council to hold a public information day in Termon Abbey and Aston Village to inform the residents about ongoing discussions in relation to taking the estates in charge.
The call was made at a local area meeting of the council and it supplemented a proposal by Cllr. Pio Smith which sought an information leaflet to be sent to the residents. The call comes after the council drew up a snag list of work they had identified that was outstanding.
'It's important that each and every resident is given an opportunity to see the snag list and add to it if necessary,' he said. 'I look forward to working with residents in the area to ensure this important piece of infrastructure is next on the list of things to do.'
