Coscan returning to perform by the Boyne

COSCÁN, the Slane 4-piece Trad/Folk band, make a long awaited return to the banks of the river Boyne in Drogheda on Friday night, November 15 in the now famous venue Wm Cairnes & Son in Scotch Hall.
Coscan have performed at festivals through the length and breath of Ireland and also in Europe and have supported some of the best names in the music business from The Dubliners, Sharon Shannon, Sinead O'Connor and many more top Irish and American acts. They have even joined on stage with the world renowned Dolores O'Riordan & The Cranberries while on tour in France.
This band has released 2 albums, a DVD and is currently working on their 3rd album. Their 2nd album, the highly acclaimed "Dinnseanchas – Lore of Places", has been sold on every continent since its release in 2009.
This appearance in Drogheda promises to be an entertaining night as the passion and energy that marks Coscan's live performances cannot be compared to anything else in contemporary Irish music.
The group comprises of David Nevin, Harry Long, Gerry Doggett and John Shankey.
