CLLR Wayne Harding has expressed concern that a centralisation of services within the new county council offices in Navan would have a negative effect on the municipal areas.
'In my own area the civic building in Duleek is of immense benefit to the people of the Slane electoral area and the staff have strong links to the the communities that they are responsible for serving. To break down these links would not be dispensing public service in the optimum way.
