AN EYEWITNESS to the Boston marathon bombings has said he will never forget the scenes after bombs ripped through the city's streets.
Former Irish cross country champion Keith Kelly (34) from Halpin's Terrace was just 200ft from the second bomb.
'It was just horrific. We were in a hotel at a meeting and it shook and when I got out I saw things that I never want to see again,' he said.
'It shook the building so hard that everyone went white. We thought it was a gas explosion.'
