THE HIGHLANES is a fine spot, a wonderful gallery and of course Relish on the premises too.
It was the former Franciscan Church in the town and has been superbly restored.
My point concerns the laneway leading from it, down the steps to the back lanes.
At the top it says Highlanes - but surely it should read Keysers Lane?
I think it would be great to have the name etched on the wall as it is of Viking origin, meaning 'Ship Wharf '.
We share the title, well it's actually named 'Kezer's Lane' with a spot in Wexford town.
