DID you know that Drogheda led the way when it comes to erecting plaques at historic locations.
Over 70 years ago the corporation secured bronze plaques that were placed on locations from Laurence's Gate to the Boyne Obelisk.
But I wonder where did the plaques for Tooting Tower and Soldier's Tower end up?
Ask anbody in Drogheda these days for these two locations and they'd struggle.
