Raising funds for Emma

MAJOR fundraising events take place in Stamullen this week for a local girl.
Emma Smith is just three and a half and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in May of this year.
Since that time she has only spent one day out of hospital with her parents, family and friends.
She is currently being treated in Our Lady's Children's Hospital in Crumlin.
On Thursday next, August 8th a Poker Classic is being held in Whytes of Stamullen with an entry fee of €25.
On Friday, August 9th, a 'Golf Scramble' will take place at Bellewstown Golf Club from 10am until 2pm with an entry fee of €25 per person or €100 for a team of 4.
Also on Friday, August 9th, the St. Patrick's GAA will host the 'Emma Byrne Cup' final at Cock Hill, beginning at 8pm and then its back to Whytes of Stamullen for an Auction, with lots of top prizes on the evening including a €500 giftcard for Harvey Norman.
The Auction kicks off in Whytes at 10pm and music on the night will be provided by D2G.
On Saturday, August 10th, a Motorbike Run will take place, starting off outside Whytes in the village at 9.30am with an entry fee of €10, contact Neill at 087-6290946 for further information about this.
Also being hosted on Saturday, August 10th will be a Family Fun Day, beginning at Whytes from 1pm and a Pram Race, which also kicks off from the village pub at 5pm.
