THINGS ARE going bump in the night – or more exactly – the early morning, on Patrick Street.
You see, the problem goes back the years when the road was built for lighter traffic.
Its foundations were fine, but the years are catching up with it.
Residents report that around 5.30am the heavy trucks begin to roll in, unladen, but still noisy.
But when they have their loads on board they come back up the road and then the rumble is incredible.
The foundations of some of the houses shake.
It is a problem that won't go away and they will be in touch with the council in relation to it.
They would be worth listening to.
