Gary Kelly Centre hosts launch of 'Camino Call'

The Launch of "Answer the Camino Call" took place in the Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre, Drogheda.

Drogheda has a long association with the Camino with journeys being made as far back as the 13th century.

According to Ann Tracey, the plans are to recruit up to 30 people to walk the Camino de Santiago, enjoy the experience while at the same time fundraise for the Centre.

The Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre celebrates its 10th anniversary this year; The Centre which opened its doors in 2004 provides free services for people living with cancer and their families.

The walk will be the last 110 kilometres. Preparation walks are organised b ythe Boyne Valley Walking Festival 2014 to get participants ready. Operation Transformation without the diet or weighing scales!
