On the weekend of 17/18 August Duleek will host its own 'Gathering Event'. This year, Duleek Fair Day and Duleek Athletics Club have joined forces to bring a fresh, vibrant and creative approach to the village's annual Fair Day activities. Building on the success of last year's Fair Day, we are delighted that this year, Duleek & District Athletic Club will host their inaugural 10K Run (Approved by AAI), immediately before the commencement of the Fair Day festivities, to generate great excitement and increase attendance at all of the day's festivities.

The introduction of the 10K Run will enhance the festive atmosphere for this unique Gathering Event. The Duleek Gathering Event, 'Duleek Fair Day & 10K Run 2013' will be promoted as a celebration of all that the Parish has to offer. We extend an open invitation to all family and friends who are living outside the Parish to come home and join in the festive celebrations. Watch this space for more.
