PEOPLE of all ages and fitness levels are gearing up for Louth GOAL Miles in their area this Christmas as the popular annual fundraiser returns to the county over the festive period.

GOAL has recently launched an appeal to support their emergency response programme in Syria, where they are delivering food and blankets to displaced families ahead of the winter period.
Louth Miles will be held on December 25 at the Dunleer Athletic Club, Shamrock Hill, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon; on December 26 at St. Fechin GAA Club, Beaulieu Cross, Termonfeckin from, 11 a.m. to 12 noon; on December 26 from The Fairgreen, Ardee from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m; on December 20 at the playing fields, Dundalk IT from 1 p.m.; and on December 26 at the Bush Track, Glenmore Athletic Club, Dundalk from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
