Another mass to feed the soul...
All ages, men, women, children, friends, work colleagues, medical staff, emergency workers - people.
The annual SOSAD memorial mass, held in the Augustinian Church in Drogheda, is an event that sees familiar faces each year.
But tragically, more and more new faces appear each year, that's why SOSAD plays such a role in the community in this entire region.
The theme for the mass last Sunday was simple - 'offered for the memory of all victims of suicide, in memory of those lost, and to give support and consolation to all who are or have been affected by such tragedy.'
Fr. Colm O'Mahony led the celebration and as ever the music was stunning, Amie Dyer, as magical as ever, Eimear King, and Hannah O'Brien, inspirational, accompanied by Michael Holohan and Breifne Holohan.
All the services were represented, Deputy Mayor Pio Smith and other members of the municipal district in attendance, along with Superintenden Andrew Watters, and groups such as the Samaritans, the emergency services, Drogheda Coastguard, St. John Ambulance, and members of the 14th Louth St. Martin's scout troop.
