JUST IN time for World Autism Awareness Day 2012, last Monday the ABACAS School for Children with Autism, Fair Street is now online!

The group's two new websites – www.autismsupportlouth.ie and www.droghedaabacas.com – are now up and running and will aim to be a one-stop source of local information on Autism Support Louth, the youth clubs and the ABACAS School for Children with Autism as well as local information on services in Louth/meath.

Speaking from the Mansion House at the Irish Autism Action Coffee Morning, with actor and Boyzone singer Keith Duffy and rugby pundit Brent Pope, Jacinta Walsh says she is delighted at the results.

'I hope the websites will be a great resource for parents coming into contact with autism locally,' she said.

We also link to the national information through Irish Autism Action and provide links on benefits and entitlements and diagnosis information. The website was co-funded by Louth Leader and also sponsored and developed by Mor Solutions in Drogheda, so a huge thank you to them for their support.'

Jacinta wold also like to take the opportunity to thank the people of Drogheda for their fantastic support as usual for the annual flag day in aid of Autism Support Louth.

'It's amazing to have such warm and generous support even in these straightened times,' said Jacinta.
