Cottage Market back on Saturday to mark first birthday

The Cottage Market is back up and running this Saturday March 11th at St Peter's Church of Ireland hall from 11am to 4pm.

They will also be marking the first birthday of the market which has proved to be an outstanding success.

'I can't believe it's been a year since we launched the Cottage Market and I have truly loved every minute. This Saturday's market plans to be the best yet with an extended trading day to 4pm , with lots of homemade , homegrown and handcrafted delights . On the day we will have a Scavenger hunt for the little ones , free raffle tickets for all attendees for a Super Cottage Market Hamper and off course a birthday cake to celebrate,' Eimear Cullen stated.

Local producers Dermott Hillard, Rock Farm, and GIY Drogheda will be selling everything from vegetables to eggs, cut flowers, Boyne Valley Food series will have a selection of local cheeses, condiments , potatoes garlic, and flours while Olan McNeece, from Boyne Grove Fruit Farm, will be selling his apple juice, vinegars and giving away some bramley apples as part of Free Apples for Tarts, a bord Bia initiative for world Pie Day which will be launched in Louth at the market.

There will be 30 stalls in all on the day, also featuring kids clothing and books, jewellery , brown bread, knitted gifts , organic Skincare, wooden crafts and much more .
