Drogheda library is open for business once more, and looking better than ever!
The Stockwell Street service re-opened last Wednesday having been closed since early November to allow for a €250,000 refurbishment programme.
Regulars will notice an improved layout with new service points, and a revamped children's area. State of the art equipment has been installed to put it way in front of some other libraries in the country. Technology has been substantially upgraded with the installation of two RFID self-issue service points/kiosks, additional computer access points and WiFi access.
There is also a new meeting and seminar room which will be a community space for meetings and exhibitions as well as serving as an open access computer facility.
