A TALENTED cast of more than 60 Coláiste na hInse students present 'Footloose'-The Musical from March 6-8.
'Footloose' will mark the second full-length production on the Coláiste na hInse stage following the success of Fame the musical in March 2013.
Inspired by the popular 1984 movie, 'Footloose' has become a stage musical phenomenon.
It tells the story of the lively city boy, Ren McCormack (played by Clinton Liberty) moving to a small town called Bomont where dancing has been banned by a narrow-minded pastor. He catches the attention of the preacher's daughter and wins the girl (Sophie Johnston as Ariel Moore).
Directed by David Hopkins, produced by Paul Strachan, choreographed by Leana Dolan (ably assisted by Alannah Kavanagh and Danielle Mitchell) and musically directed by Michelle Conway, Footloose explodes onto the stage with its electrifying dance routines.
Tickets to 'Footloose' cost €10 and are on sale in the foyer area of Coláiste na hInse every week day from 1- 2 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased from the main office. All performances begin at 7.30p.m. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any further queries.
