They have been building a fan base and Black Svan are now ready to let loose on the national and world stage!
Drogheda's finest, Black Svan, are delighted to announce that their debut album '16 Minutes' will be getting a worldwide release in October via M & O Music. They will be joining a roster which includes bands such as In Arkadia and Overwind.
'The company also distributes for the likes of Soulfly, Killer Be Killed and Cavalera Conspiracy via M & O Office. The album will be available in both a physical and digital format thanks to an impressive list of distributors,' band member Kenneth Bell told me. 'To say that we are delighted to be working with M & O Music would be an understatement and we can't wait to share this album with everyone.'
Keith Caffrey on vocals, Jagger Murray, guitar, Mo Clifford, guitar, Kenneth Bell, Bass and Joey Afonso, Drums, make up the outfit. The band was formed in 2010, after extensive gigging around Ireland and Europe including supporting American rock giants Fozzy and Stuck Mojo, they settled in to begin the recording of the much awaited album.
'Recording began in August 2011 in various studios in Louth /Meath, continuing to February 2012 with the finished tracks being mixed and mastered by world renowned producer Jacob Hansen of Hansen studios in Denmark,' Kenneth stated. With the album finished Black Svan set about looking for a record deal, a few offers came in, eventually deciding on M&O music.
