A chilling tale of life in Auschwitz
A LOCAL drama group is presenting a chilling tale of life in a Nazi concentration camp next week.
DULEEK Drama Players are marking their 30th anniversary of stage productions with the play 'Anna - the girl who stood out in the cold' which was written by Michael Ferguson from Duleek, a long standing actor and director.
The play is based in Auschwitz concentration camp and tells the story of 12 year old Anna and her fellow inmates. It will be staged at the Droichead Arts Centre from March 5-8th (from 8pm).
Michael has visited the camp in the past and felt compelled to write about his experience and hence the play.
Duleek Drama Players were founded in 1984 and have been recognized both locally and nationally for their talents over the past three decades. They have also raised much needed funds for various charities over the past number of years.
Tickets cost €12 and are available from the booking office on 041-9875140 or 041-9833946.
