Youths League: Macroom 3 Passage 0: After the cup heroics the previous week, it was back to league action at the Town Park.

Another fine performance has ensured the team have jumped from fourth to second in the league table.

Goals from Joe Ryan, Brian McMahon and Craig Ronan made the three points safe.

Macroom has been drawn at home to Tramore A. F.C. from Waterford in the quarter final of the Munster Youths Cup.

The game will take place on Saturday February 8 at Murrayfield.

Premier A League: Douglas Hall 1 Macroom 0: Macroom will consider themselves to be extremely unlucky in this away tie.

The home keeper was man of the match with a string of fine saves to deny Barry O' Donnell, Anthony O'Donoghue and Darren Kelly. New signing Keith Holden also had a number of opportunities but he too was foiled by the Douglas net minder. And late in the game a deflected effort from close range wrong footed Mark Twohig in the Macroom goal and the hosts had the winner which they scarcely deserved.

U11 League: Carrigaline Hibs 4 Macroom 4: Macroom picked up an excellent away point after a fine game in Carrigaline.

All of the visitors' four goals came courtesy of T.J. Buckley and this was a marvellous individual achievement.

Liam Coleman, Ryan Healy and Kieran Doody were also in great form in what was a superb team performance.
