Munster Senior League

MUNSTER Senior League Premiership football returned to Fermoy last weekend when the kingpins of Cork and Munster football Rockmount were visitors to Carrig Park on the opening day of the MSL.

At the end of the day the score read Fermoy 1 Rockmount 3, this was a tough baptism of fire for the locals who will be expecting to win many points over the coming weeks as the league warms up.

Compensation for the club came when the junior side, who are also promoted to Premier Junior for this season, began their campaign with 2-0 away win over Glasheen, this augurs well for the future of this team and we wish both sides the best of luck in their new grades.
