BOHERBUE turned on the style in the opening half to get the better of visiting Cullen in the Ducon Cup.
Cullen battled hard, but they were never able to retrieve a six point interval deficit. Boherbue had held command from the off with Alan Guerin, Michael O'Connor, Niall Murphy and Paul Cremin to the fore.
Upfront, Jerry O'Connor led the way in the shooting stakes, clocking up points from all angles from play, frees and 45's. A rusty Cullen did finish the opening half with a flourish, Pat O'Sullivan pointing to cut the leeway 0-8 to 0-2 at the interval. Cullen attempted to rise their game upon the resumption, the efforts of James O'Sullivan, Colin Moynihan and Alan Regan offering encouragement.
And though Regan kicked points, Boherbue always held enough in reserve to claim their best win of the season todate.
