LISGOOLD jockey Paul Townend excelled at Limerick races on Wednesday, on All The Way Home, for Clonakilty trainer Sinead O'Sullivan, in the 2ml 3f handicap hurdle, and former Kinsale native owner Barry Murphy.

Confidently ridden from rear of mid division, and making relentless progress from before three out, he closed going well two out, and only had to be pushed out confidently by Paul, to pass the post, winning easily by over two lengths.

The winning trainer, who was enjoying her second track success, was not in attendance, but was represented by Paul Moloney, himself a most accomplished trainer, who explained to The Corkman: "we were confident enough today as he was very unlucky at Tramore recently. Even though he hated that ground today he did it well enough, and will probably be kept to handicaps."
