No easy games for any club

Following the draws last Saturday evening for the knockout stages of the Junior A Hurling Championship, there are no easy games for any of the clubs involved.

Ballygiblin meet Buttevant in the quarter final with the winner facing either Dromina or Kilshannig in the semi-final.

The Ballygiblin under 16 hurlers were in action on Tuesday evening last in Mallow against 'Shandrum in the Co Premier 2 HC. Ballygiblin got off to a very poor start and were 4 -7 to 0- 8 behind at the break.

A great second half saw Ballygiblin put in a huge effort and they hit the front in the closing minutes. In the end 'Shandrum had a point to spare 5-15 to 4 -17.
