Knocknagree Ladies Football Club held its AGM recently in the community centre which was very productive with plans put in place for the season ahead.

These include participation in the School Links Programme organized by their Munster counterparts where the club has agreed to promote ladies football in schools in its catchment area.

The football boots recycling scheme has saved families substantial funds as boots which no longer fit are passed down to younges ages. This works for all age groups, so, anyone with boots that are no longer required are asked to donate them to the club.

The club Gaelic 4 Mothers and Others team will be launched shortly and huge interest has been shown.

The only requirement is that you are over 18 years and do not play with another club.

Training has re-commenced for all age groups and this year the club will field teams at U8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and minors.
