Duhallow Championships put on hold

CORK'S draw with Clare in the All Ireland SHC final has scuppered hopes of completing both the Duhallow JAFC/JAHC during September.

Just three teams remain in contention for both competitive championships.

William Egan's involvement with Cork see Kilbrin's JAHC semi final tussle with Freemount deferred. Tullylease await the winners in the final.

Much a similar situation applies to the JAFC, finalists Lyre looking on whether its Cullen or Millstreet as opponents in the decider. Millstreet's Mark Ellis forms a cog of the Cork senior hurling panel. The Cullen and Milllstreet semi-final is expected to take place on October 2/3.
