MALLOW creative artists work group Múnla have an art exhibition in Friars Gate theatre and gallery in Kilmallock from now until mid January. It is well worth a visit to view the beautiful work on display. The group would like to express thanks to Mallow Town Council and the arts office of Cork County Council for their sponsorship.
THE Gilbert Centre, Mallow would like to thank the following for supporting their Christmas Fair held on Saturday, December 7. Great appreciation to all the sponsors who donated spot prizes for the Monster Raffle, to all people who had stalls on the day displaying their beautiful products, to Aideen MacAuliffe, Niamh O'Connell and Centre Stage School for the beautiful Christmas Carol singing and also to the general public who came out in large numbers and supported the Fair.
The Christmas fair was a huge success and all funds raised on the day will go to provide services for people with physical and/or sensory disabilities.
Wheelspinner Margaret O'Connor, Cork Road won €75 in the Mallow GAA Member's Weekly Lotto draw which was held in Carrigoon on Tuesday, December 10. The winning numbers were 10 - 15 - 25 - 31. The €30 lucky dip winners were Evelyn and Lisa Sheehan c/o Paddy McCarthy, Liz Foley c/o John O'Connell and Andy Duignan c/o Mike Duignan. The jackpot is currently at €7,100.
Mallow Tidy Town wish to thank all volunteers, helpers, sponsors and to those who contributed in any way to making 2013 such a hugely successful and productive year for MTT.
The group have achieved so much with public help and they look forward to continuing in the same vein in the New Year. MTT are formulating lots of new and exciting plans for 2014 and will be inviting everyone to their launch in February.
