THE annual general meeting of Kilbrin community council will take place on Thursday 10th April at 8.00pm sharp in the social club.
The community council is the lifeblood of any community, there would be no community centre, no social club or no community renewal projects.
Events such as the B a star, Mothers Day Dinner, the turning on of the Christmas tree lights without the organisation. It is vital that we get a big attendance this year, as we need new people with new ideas and approach to keep the council going. If you are interested in getting involved please come along.
Asleigh O'Sullivan & Jordan Corkery are travelling to Medjugorie on a pilgrimage in August this year. They need funds for the trip, to do so they are organising a road clean up from Knocknacolan to Kilbrin, in the coming weeks. Your support both financially and otherwise would be greatly appreciated.
Congratulations to Maire Heffernan, daughter of Margaret & Donal, Castlecor, on her marriage to Jonathan Goggin, Millstreet.

We wish the happy couple every blessing in their future together.
Congrats to William on another powerful display for the Cork senior hurlers against Tipperary at semple stadium on Sunday last in the quarter final of the league. Tipperary won on the scoreline of 3-25 to 4-19.
Kilbrin NS is holding a clothes collection on this Friday. All items should be placed in bags and dropped into the school before 9.30am. Please support.
The unexpected death of Conor Buckley, Derrinagree, at a young age caused widespread regret in the parish and surrounding areas.
